Palacio de Cibeles Viewpoint

The Palacio de Cibeles, a magnificent early 20th-century palace turned city hall, crowns Madrid's most famous square with architectural grandeur. Its rooftop viewpoint, accessible via a glass elevator that ascends through the building's core, offers a commanding 360-degree panorama of the Spanish capital. From this elevated perch, Madrid unfolds like a living map: the Gran Vía cuts a grand swath through the cityscape, the Almudena Cathedral rises in the distance, and the Sierra de Guadarrama forms a hazy blue silhouette on the horizon.

The terrace itself is a celebration of Madrid's skyline.
