Euro Camping Emirates Tourist Center

Euro Camping Emirates Tourist Center is located in the heart of the Middle Atlas mountains near the town of Azrou, within a short drive of the alpine-style town of Ifrane. Set among fragrant cedar and cork oak forests, the campground offers a completely different camping experience from Morocco's coastal or desert sites — here, the air is cool and crisp even in summer, and the landscape is lush and green. The site is a popular stop for travelers heading between Fes and the Sahara.

The campground provides generous pitches for tents and caravans, many under the shade of the surrounding trees. Facilities are practical and include a restaurant serving both Moroccan specialties and European dishes, clean shower blocks with hot water, and electricity hookups. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, popular with both Moroccan families on weekend getaways and European overlanders. The staff are friendly and the grounds are kept tidy, though the facilities could benefit from some modernization.

The surrounding area offers excellent hiking through the cedar forests of the Ifrane National Park, where troops of Barbary macaques are commonly spotted. The town of Ifrane, with its distinctive Alpine architecture and manicured parks, is worth a visit, as is the nearby pearl of Azrou with its traditional Berber market. In winter, the nearby Michlifen ski resort offers skiing and snow play. Euro Camping provides a welcome cool-weather camping option in Morocco's mountain regions.
